BYC has a professional Pickleball Court surface, the lines are specifically for Pickleball and are very clear, the regular players are skilled (most 3.5+), everyone is very welcoming and most players have good English skills. To top it all off, the courts are indoors with a very high roof !! I was in Chiang Mai for just under 1 month and started immediately playing every day throughout Chiang Mai, including several times at Imperial and also at the public Hai Ya courts. Ultimately I settled into playing just at BYC Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday so that I could have a consistently good surface and improve faster. Imperial is scenic but it is outside and the court surface is slick concrete so the ball bounce is poor and it can be slippery unless you have great footwear. Hai Ya courts are friendly, very cheap and well located. However you will spend significant time (up to 30+ minutes) waiting for your turn using a rack system and it is hard to get hard games at 3.5+ level. These courts being outside means they are negatively effected by weather and air quality. BYC Indoor Pickleball Courts are further out of town, but the grab or bolt trip was definately worth it, as the play is almost constant and of a high level. I was also fortunate to have some new friends at BYC drive me home afterwards. When I come back to Chiang Mai, I will definately come back exclusively to BYC Indoor Pickleball Courts at every opportunity."

1. What are your court hours and how much does it cost to play?

Our courts are open daily from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

We offer the following rates:

Hourly court rental: 140 Baht per hour
Open play: 90 Baht for 3 hours
Basic training for beginners: 550 Baht per hour

2. Do you offer equipment rentals?

We offer high-quality pickleball paddles and balls for rent. Additionally, we have a small shop where you can buy your own equipment. We are the distributor for Joola paddles in Chiang Mai (Acer Sports).

Paddle rental: 40 Baht
Ball machine rental: 350 Baht per hour (includes court fee)

3. What is the court surface like?

Our indoor courts feature a cutting-edge synthetic court surface developed by Casali ABM, an Italian-based company. The Supersoft WS System is designed to offer exceptional resiliency and excellent ball bounce for players. Notably, this system has received certification from the International Tennis Federation (ITF) as a Class 4 (Medium-Fast) court pace, making it a top choice for racquet sports enthusiasts.

In addition to its superior performance, the surface is designed to provide excellent traction and reduce stress on your joints. It ensures consistent ball bounce and good shock absorption, making BYC Pickleball Courts a fantastic option for players seeking a competitive experience.

4. Are there any leagues or tournaments I can join?

Yes, we organize regular DUPR Rating Sessions, DUPR Flex leagues, tournaments for players of all levels. We also host social events and mixers so you can meet other pickleball enthusiasts. You can check our website or our notice board for upcoming events.

5. Do you offer lessons or clinics for beginners?

Absolutely! We have certified instructors who offer private or semi private lessons or clinics, group classes, private lessons for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're brand new to the sport or looking to improve your game, we can help

6. Are there any age restrictions at your facility?

We welcome players of all ages! We have special programs for kids and seniors, and we encourage families to play together.

7. Do I need to book a court in advance?

Court reservations are recommended, especially during peak hours. You can book by calling us at +6696-906-1725 or add us through LINE or WhatsApp using this number. Our Facebook page also features a booking option at the top.

8. What are your rules regarding footwear and attire?

We ask that players wear non-marking athletic shoes suitable for indoor court sports. Comfortable athletic clothing is also recommended.

9. Do you have amenities like restrooms, water fountains, and changing rooms?

We provide clean and well-maintained restrooms, free water fountains, and changing rooms with showers for your convenience. Additionally, we have a small snack corner where you can purchase cold beverages, including electrolyte drinks like Pocari and Gatorade, as well as mineral water and Suntory products such as Pepsi, 7 Up, and Fanta. We also offer soy milk, peanuts, imported drinks, and more.
