KNOW US

IT’S TIME TO

Sports is the fastest way to feel at home somewhere new.

That's the idea BYC was built on. Everything else, the courts, the coaching, the jungle trips, grew out of that one belief.

Our Mission

Sport is the tool. Confidence is the goal.

In 2026, we're doubling our reach. We're scaling our training to empower over 1,000 students and women across Thailand, up from 2025. We don't just teach the rules of the game. We use pickleball to help women and girls feel brave, confident, and become leaders.

We recommend 120 to 140 minutes a week in nature and sport, not because it's trendy, but because your body was built for it. BYC makes that easy, social, and something you look forward to.

BYC opened in April 2022 in the hills of Doi Saket, a three-court indoor pickleball facility. The idea was simple. Sport gets people moving. Nature gets people breathing. Put both in one place, and people stick around.

What started as a few courts became something bigger. In May 2025, we rebranded as your hub for pickleball, badminton, table tennis, and wellness in Chiang Mai, adding court capacity and building out our wellness programs. Pickleball, badminton, and ping pong, run by appointment so every session actually has room for you. Coaching from someone who takes total beginners seriously. Jungle treks and coffee tours that get people out of the city and into the hills.

We're also Thailand's exclusive partner for Standout Pickleball, an Australian brand whose paddles and equipment are used by national-level players. We acquired Standout Pickleball Thailand outright in October 2025. That partnership didn't come first. It came after we'd already built a place worth bringing serious gear to.

BYC Pickleball & More is run by BYC Sports & More Co., Ltd., based here in Chiang Mai.

How BYC started

Under one roof

BYC is actually four businesses in one.

01 The Courts

BYC Pickleball & More runs the courts themselves: pickleball, badminton, ping pong, and the fitness and wellness programs built around them, for every age and fitness level.

02 The Gear

Standout Pickleball is our equipment side. We develop and distribute paddles and gear across Thailand, not just for players who walk through our doors.

03 Events & Camps

We run tournaments, corporate events, and wellness workshops, on-site and off, for groups who want more than a standard booking.

04 Consulting

We advise other organizations and institutions on how to build and run their own sports facilities and programs, using what we've learned running ours.

"More than just sports. It's a family."

Kru Mod

Rachada Dangchamroon, known at BYC as Kru Mod, co-founded BYC and owns it today. She runs both the coaching and the day-to-day operations.

Before BYC, she was an assistant professor teaching communication arts and English, and she's translated self-help health books into Thai. That background shows up on the court. She explains things clearly, she's systematic about fixing a specific problem in your game, and her English is sharp enough that visiting players never have to guess what she means.

She's patient with total beginners. She's methodical with anyone chasing a specific fix, a third shot drop, footwork, whatever's holding your game back. And she's encouraging the whole way through.

Visitors who came in on vacation for a few lessons have left saying it changed how they play. If you've never picked up a paddle, she's the reason you'll leave your first session wanting a second one.

Off the court, Mod runs the operation. She schedules open play, manages the courts day to day, and makes sure everyone, beginner or not, feels comfortable the moment they walk in.

She's also led BYC's partnership with Casali Sports, built around one idea she's said herself: the mission has always been about more than winning and competing.

Singh

Komsan Singhatong goes by Singh. He's spent over 20 years in communications and marketing, corporate PR first, for Ford, Nissan, Bridgestone, and AkzoNobel across Thailand and the wider region, then international education, leading marketing and student recruitment for Thammasat University's School of Global Studies and the Faculty of Nursing at Chiang Mai University.

He moved to Chiang Mai in 2021. He built the BYC Chiang Mai Indoor PB Players Facebook group from nothing to over 1,900 members, and he's the official importer and distributor for Standout Pickleball Thailand.

Since September 2025, he's the Communications Lead for ACWC, the ASEAN Commission on the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of Women and Children, building their Facebook and LinkedIn presence from scratch. He calls it the work he's most proud of.

If Kru Mod is the reason players stick around, Singh is the reason people found BYC in the first place.

Who's here

  • Locals : A weekend activity worth showing up for. Regulars who wanted more than a gym membership. Beginners always welcome, no experience required.

  • Expats: A fast way to meet people. New to Chiang Mai and looking for a way in. Open play means you never need to bring your own partner.

  • Travelers: One memorable day, not another tour, A real game, real coaching, and a trip to the hills that most itineraries never find.

Most people who show up alone leave with someone to play with next week. That's not an accident. It's the whole point.
